So good to be back

ImageI feel as if I have completely neglected my beloved blog for some weeks now and indeed I’ve not had a chance to put pen to paper ( or fingers to keyboard) and update my page on new things, new sights, new ventures. Hopefully, I am back on track as of today and have decided to ‘kick off’ my new season with beautiful fresh blossom. Nothing I like more than blossom (oh, and chocolate of course) it’s just a riot of colour outside now with trees and plants bursting with buds and colour, spring is perfect and I am sharing my spring with you!

What I wouldn’t do for some real colour

We’re having a white Easter here in England, snow again.. they did forecast it and they got it right. I sigh as I drive into work, I find it tough being creatively inspired when it’s so grey, so cold and so ‘colourless’ for want of a better word.

At work I turn to my ‘saved images’ the ones I have kept in a file called ‘inspiration’, the vegetables in the market in Italy grab me, each an every one- from Courgette flowers to stacks of artichokes. But the red bunches of Chilli’s, now these really get to me, what I wouldn’t do for some colour right now!

Confessions of an obsessive Pinner…

I confess, if I could I would most likely be pinning all day. Whilst some people make their New Years resolution to clean, de-clutter and tidy up their spaces, I on the other hand, chose to add yet another board to my Pinterest boards ( which as is, take up far to much of my time). My inspirational fabric images that I have collected over the months are now going into my Ikat, Batik and tribal fabrics board. I will be able to gaze at them all, neatly laid out at a press of a button- how wonderful 🙂 Plenty more images to come but already looking lovely. So if you are on Pinterest check it out

Let me know what your Pinterest name is so I can check you out too!
