Last night I was invited to the 1 year birthday extravaganza of glamgiving. Founded by the lovely Lou Stacey, glamgiving raises funds for selected charities by selling donated high-quality second-life fashion and designer clothes and accessories. Yesterday’s event held at The Haberdashery in North London’s leafy Crouch End was proof that giving can be a glamorous, fun and extremely sociable. In between tasty nibbles and glasses of bubbly it was possible to look at, try on and ultimately buy some top designer bargains with funds going towards Breakthrough for breast cancer.Did I get me a bargain? well, of course, how could I possibly resist it.
